Fitness Suites
We have a well-equipped suite, at both the Manor House and Ashbury Hotels, including treadmills, exercise bikes, cross-trainers, multi-gyms, rowing machine and recumbent bike. Use of our Fitness Suites is free of charge.
Exercise Classes
We have so many classes you'll be spoilt for choice:
- Hatha Yoga
The Hatha yoga classes include stretching, posture, breathing techniques and relaxation.
- Pilates
A gentle exercise that will help develop core strength and restore natural postural alignment, enhance co-ordination and flexibility. A complete body workout!
- Yogilates
Yogilates is a comprehensive fusion of Yoga and Pilates that stretches and strengthens all the major muscle groups, promotes core stability and focuses on the breath to help quieten the mind.
- Deep Relaxation Class
Experience a state of deep relaxation and peacefulness, from which you will be able to make the most of your holiday break.
- Stretch and Relax
A series of stretching exercises to strengthen and remove tension from overworked muscles.
- Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a moving meditation that helps bring balance to the body, mind and soul. The slow speed of the movements disguises the fact it is also a martial art based on soft power.
- Bender Ball Workout
Bender Ball is a method to body sculpting, core strength, balance and co-ordination. Its a gentle and effective way to work out to music. Intensity can be varied depending on ability.
- Aquarobics
Exercise to music in the water – A fun way to workout.
- Zumba
The dance workout that is inspired by Latin rhythm and moves to include samba, salsa, cumbia, merengue, jive and others that will make you sweat or sway. Do what your body feels – it’s fun!
- Salsa Dancing
Salsa is a syncretic dance form with origins from Cuba. Its movements originate in Cuban Son, with strong influences from Mambo, Guaguanco, and other Afro-Cuban music. Salsa is normally a partner dance, although there are solo forms.
- Rock N Roll Dancing
Rock N Roll dancing is a fun, lighthearted dance class based on movements from the Jive and styles from the 50’s and 60’s.
- Bollywood Dancing
Bollywood is India’s alternative to Hollywood. You will learn how to make beautiful shapes and immerse yourself in an alternative style of music.
- Steet Dancing
Street Dancing is a form of dancing that has wonderful and different styles. Street Dancing requires a lot of energy and creativity from the performer. It is one of the best ways of staying in shape and healthy.
